Guide to Booking Equipment Packages + Production Studio

Project Proposals must first be approved by faculty teaching the course associated with the proposal. If project is not associated with a course, any faculty person may sign off on it.

Appropriate paperwork, permits and insurance must be obtained before student is permitted to sign out equipment. Paperwork must be kept on set at all times. Failure to complete and carry appropriate paperwork leave student at risk of financial responsibility for all equipment.

Forms needed:

 If shooting in the studio:

  • full list of all cast and crew, including roles
  • ECU student must be with equipment at all times
  • Media Release forms for all cast

If shooting anywhere else on campus:

  • full list of all cast and crew, including roles
  • ECU student must be with equipment at all times

If shooting on location:

            On private property:

  • full list of all cast and crew, including roles
  • ECU student must be with equipment at all times

 

If shooting on location:

On city, parks or municipal property:

 

  • appropriate Permit to Film IE: City of Vancouver

(can take up to two weeks to process)
